When you really need a taste of Buffalo and you are in the Phoenix, Az. area? IT'S TEDS HOTDOGS!!!!

Yes as in the many Teds Hotdogs in Buffalo, you still have to wait in line and of coarse there are numerous photos, pendants, and news articles of the great city of Buffalo.  Just like every Teds Restaurant back home.  Oh did I mention should you really want to keep up with the news in Buffalo they have yesterdays Buffalo News shipped in everyday..

As I said, the lines are as ridiculous as they are back home and do not be surprised should you see someone in there from Buffalo talking about or recalling a moment they were there.

Did I mention the menu is exactly the same, including Loganberry!!!!

When you finally get your food which is about a normal twenty minute wait.  The deliciousness goes quick!  YUM!!!

That was good!!!!  Guess you will have to stop in at Teds on Broadway in Tempe, Az to see what you missed.

A day at Lake Pleasant

Welcome to Lake Pleasant Regional Park. One of the most scenic water recreation areas in the “Valley of the Sun,” this northwest Valley park is a recreationist’s dream. The park offers many activities, such as camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.

We spent a day at Lake Pleasant and realized we need to spend more time here.  Sondra, Ranger and I have a new friend in this place.  We have decided to schedule a week or two in this beautiful place.  No words are needed for the following pictures....

Go West!! Go West!!

It has been a while since I wrote anything, I apologize if you missed it. Anyways we are heading to Phoenix Az. for the winter.  We are paid in full for the Rally at PIR, Goodyear, Az. in Feb as well.  Earlier this fall we sat in Alliance Coach in Wildwood, Fl.  Now it's west my friends as we plan to spend some time with my boys Paul and Mathew, my nephew Jeff and his wife my sweet niece Janette and other relatives.

We were hoping to hit Reno as well but it is not in the cards (lol) I said, "cards".  Looks like we have something to look forward to in 2016.  As we travel thru this incredible country in which I am extremely proud of, I can't help but to say doing this with your wife is a beautiful thing but doing it with your best friend is even better.

We hit a few camp sites and realized we will never be back there but we also found a few new campsites to stop and say hello again too.  Junction Texas is the winner by far and it has been raining the entire time.  http://www.junctionnorthllanoriverrvpark.com/ It just has that wow factor.  A few dollars more than we would like to pay but worth the extra as we will have the most hours off the road here.

Ranger is one crazy dog, he will run like a maniac all over the house errr 5th wheel and never stop.  He is very smart too.  He has three stuffed chewable animals and should you ask him for the mouse, man or cow, in seconds he brings back the proper toy.  He and mommy work hard on that.  Hoping the rain slows down soon.  Until next time.  Have a great day.

Haywood County Fair, North Carolina!! Yee Haa!!!

I enjoy a good fair and or festival but let me tell you about one Sondra and I attended this week end.

Total cost to get in to the Haywood County Fair, North Carolina $2.00 per person and that included paking cost! WOOO!!! HOOO!!!

It had everything a larger fair would have, and trust me when I say this. I grew up in Erie County, New York and that is a grand Fair!!

Do not get me wrong, todays had many things a large fair has.

We seen livestock, projects from the 4-H groups, we seen a little boy who had such a grin when he looked face to face with a cow and we even seen a young farm girl shaving the hair off the balls of a show bull.

Preparation is the key for any animal in a ribbon contest. I seen the farmers, wipe the cows behind, clean his nose with his hankie, trim any unwanted hairs from the appearance which included the shaving of the bulls balls.

Along with all the animal fun we had, we managed to take in the display building which hosted many categories like cooking, farming, creativity, photography and horticulture.

As you can see there was a lot of stuff to view but only so many will make the photo cut.

I will use photos more than words this time and ask if you prefer me writing or just photo blogging?

We seen this barn on the way to the fair and we had to stop and give it kudos!!!

Enjoy the photos and please as always feel free to comment on anything you would like to.

 Have a great day!!!
